For shipments that need to be delivered to other countries and do require customs clearance at either end, we recommend our Worldwide Parcel Express service. You may also need to ensure that certain documents accompany your parcels that are required by customs at the origin or destination of the parcel. Please note that certain duties and taxes may be levied by the relevant authorities when clearing the shipment through customs in the destination country. Furthermore, some delays may be experienced during this clearance process as determined by these authorities, however, we will endeavour to ensure that the process is as smooth as possible. We will provide you with an all inclusive price of collection, clearance and delivery (with the exception of customs duties and taxes).

Import Express

This is a flexible importation solution that allows you to be in control of your imports of documents and parcels. We can provide you with a fixed determinable cost in South African Rands that like the Worldwide Parcel Express, includes collection, clearance and delivery (with the exception of customs duties and taxes). Please note that due to the extreme volatility of the Oil price, and subsequently the price of jet fuel, all tariffs are subject to a fluctuating Fuel Surcharge. This is a percentage surcharge calculated from an index and applied to the shipping charge, which is based on the average spot price of Kerosene-Type Jet Fuel, calculated one month in arrears (due to the release dates of the data). For example, December's Fuel Surcharge will be determined by the average spot price of Kerosene-Type Jet Fuel in October.
Whilst we make every attempt to minimise the impact, this is an industry norm and is passed from airlines to carriers to customers. The index is based on an industry standard, being the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) Index which we welcome our customers to view. The Fuel Surcharge levied will fluctuate up or down in 0.5% increments as per the table below:
